So David thought it would funny to pick me up and spin me around and around and around til HE got DIZZY and dropped me and I fell right into the book shelf!!! So David thought it would be funny when he was vacuuming while I was on the floor to pretend to get really close to my hair when my hair REALLY did start to get sucked into the vacuum. He got all flustered and it took him a sec to turn it off that he litterally pulled hair out of my head!! Is it just me or is he NOT FUNNY!!!

So I left to take the girLs to their preschooL day camp that is right down the street. I ask my mother-in-law if she could get Jack a bottle and put him in his crib, as he was crying and ready to go down. She was in the middle of a project down stairs and when I walked through the door Jack in the garbage eating RAW EGGS! I was probably gone 5 minutes tops!!Instead of just getting him a bottle or not even that just watching him for heaven's sake she thought it would easier to bathe him and then clean up a big 'ol mess!

While we were in vegas my mom had our kids with her. Everyone went swimming on the 4th of July and then went to the STADIUM OF FIRE where the one and only JONAS BROTHERS were performing. Jaida and Cassidy were 2 happy campers about that. VEGAS BABY VEGAS!

So David and I went to Las Vegas for the 4th of July. It was a much needed trip together and we had so much fun. We stayed in Mesquite at the Casablanca wednesday night. Then headed for Vegas first thing the next moring. We woke up to a flat tire after getting that taken care of we were on our way. We stayed at the Mandalay Bay which was so AWESOME! The Hotel, the pool everything was amazing. We spent everyday Laying out and night time shopping, a little gambling not too bad though. David had me under control this trip. This is outside the Ice Bar. David wanted to go in but we just got out of winter I did not want spend money to go into a 5 below weather which was the name also when we don't even drink. They litterally had heavy coats for u to put on before u went in. So we just got our picture taken with the girls who are supposed to lure u in. Or their boobs are.Our room is litterally the last one on the right. We always get the room at the end of the hall. On our way to do the strip!Pool time.More pool time.My hunky HubbyYes! This guy took off his shirt!!On the hotel's beach waiting for the fireworks.FIREWORKS. An awesome display of fireworks to a patriotic medley.Then MYSTIC ROOTS played right after. A reagea band similar to like Sublime. They were cool. And the stage is in the water so ur in the water jammin.The lead singer. The band was way coolThe rest of the band minus 1She sang too.Then we went to EYECANDY a club in the hotel and danced the night away til 3am.

Leaving Las Vegas and back to reality at home. Thanks to my mom and Michele who watched our kids!!

JACK TURNS 1!

It was party weekend with Nicole and Michele turning 30 and the next day Jack turned 1. Most of the pics are my parents camera so here are the highlights. I made these awesome cupcakes that were huge then Michele made the frosting and they turned out better than a bakery! I wish I had the pics of them. It was a camo themed party and everyone was a trooper and dressed in camo. We did the cupcakes brown and green and put little army guys on top. So Cute. This is Jaida's Last week of schooL. First They had a dance festival this is the only picture I got of that. There is video of it. Then they had a carnival which Jaida was very much into hanging out with her 6th grade buddy more than us she did come by when she needed more money though. So it was mostly just Sid and I. JACK'S SURGERY

Jack got his surgery this past Tuesday. I was so sad. He went in happy not knowing what was about to happen. Then he swelled up and things turned not so routine anymore. I got called back to see him after he woke up from the anesthiea, only 1 parent can go back at a time. When I got back there they were suctioning his nose. I didn't know anything. I just wanted to hold him and have him see me. Finally they were done and when I got him there was a tube in his nose that went down his throat just in case he stopped breathing the tube was there for oxygen. He also had a string sewed to his tongue in case it fell to the back of his throat the nurses could grab it and pull his tongue back. So I was comforting him when the doctor came and said the tube in his nose was kinda small and to put in a bigger one. So they took him from me and was holding him down and he was freaking out. That 's when I lost it and starting crying and the tears just wouldn't quit. So they called David back and he came back all excited to see him then he saw me bawling and Jack screaming and the nurse started to explain to David. So instead of going to the recovery floor they wanted to watch his breathing closer so they sent him to ICU. "The Problem"Safe with Dad in the waiting room before surgery.Getting his surgery jammies onA small breeze back thereHe's starting to get worried.Off to surgeryAfter surgery in ICUHe needed arm restraints =(He watched the nurses like hawks he hated them! Anyone in scrubs!Poor guy he was so miserable!See the string on his tongue.Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. Trevor and Elise were watching the girls and they came too, along with davids brother, wife and Grandma Myrna. Also Lindsay and Jon came up and Nicole and Michele were there in spirit and the phone!Another family hospital photo we seem to be getting alot of these.zzzzz......Morphine...zzzzzz......The next day the tube came out and they cut the string off!Finally FOOD! He hadn't had a bottle since Monday night at like 8pm. And this is Wednesday morning.They had a whole play room that we hung out at and the girls had fun playing while we visited.Starting to feel like Jack again.

So I got Britney Spears Tix for Christmas. To the one in CaLi and in SaLt Lake. I was freaking out and sooo excited for months. We ended up giving our caLi tix to my cousin, but went to saLt Lake and it was AMAZING, ENTERTAINING, she is sooo B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L and sexy. The Pussy Cat Dolls opened and were so good tool. So David and I had the chance to go to CaLifornia just us with no kids. We only had 1 fuLL day to ourseLves. We spent it in hoLLywood in hopes to see a "ceLebrity". It was oscar weekend and after awhiLe of stalking the rich and famous stores we went to one more place on my List. The Four Seasons Hotel. We got a tabLe to hav Lunch and that's when Tyrese came in. He stood right at our table taLking to the waiter. Then he went and sat down. Then Larry FLynt came in his gold studded Louis Vutton wheeL chair. I had a bad seat and it was hard for me to see that's when our staLker friend asked us to sit with him. He had a great view of all the fancy Limos and cars dropping off the celebs. We saw Robert Downy Junior, Josh Brolin(he was bush in W, and the older bro in the goonies), Meredith Viera and Al Roker, Jerry Lewis, TiLda Swinton(the ice queen in narnia), Djimon Hounsou(he was in gladiater), Kimora Lee Simmons. Then another car came and out came Mickey Rourke. So pictures are not aLLowed, but when Mickey got there he was happily taking pics with fans so we ran over to get one. Overall it was a really fun trip, but definetly too short.

So with all this prop 8 and eLection stuff happening I've been online researching. There was an ad put out against our church about prop 8 (youtube home invasion). Anyway after youtubing it I was youtube surfing and seeing tons of these anti mormon videos that have been posted. Talking about and showing sacred things, but with a faLse twist to them. I was infuriated with what I was seeing and couldn't beLieve some of the comments peopLe had written about mormons. I know it's the Last Days and this has been taught to us that we wouLd endure percecution, but I didn't think it wouLd effect me this way. So I was on the computer and Jaida asked, "Mommy what are you doing?"

I said,"Oh, just peopLe are saying some bad things"

and she must have seen some pictures of the tempLe cuz she asked,"About church?"

And I Looked at her and said,"Yes."

Then she Looked puzzLed and distraught and asked,"Why?"

I didn't know how to expLain it to her cuz I can hardLy understand myseLf so I said,"I don't know they're just stupid and they don't know."

And in her childLike innocense she says,"That makes me sad. Church is good, and some peopLe don't go to church, but if you don't go to church you don't Learn, and that makes Jesus sad."

I didn't have to expLain anything. She expLained it to me. This is just the beginning. Our precious babes are the ones we have to teach and prepare for these Last Days. My testimony has onLy grown from seeing those videos and I feeL sad for them. We have to stay cLose to the iron rod and teach our chiLdren too.

So at NicoLe's baby shower she got a BUMBO which we tried out on Jack. He Liked it a new view of Life sitting up so I went out and bought one, so far so good!

Yay! Jack is off his oxygen and has had his feeding tube out for 5 days! He Looks Like a baby without aLL the tubes coming out of his face!!

Lindsay and Jon's Wedding

So here we are at Lindsay's wedding. It was heLd in Jon's neighbors backyard then we had the reception in Jon's backyard. It was reaLLy nice untiL it started raining an hour before the reception was over, but it turned out reaLLy nice and the kids Loved being in it.

So Jack is doing great. He's starting to drink 2-3 oz now in a bottLe in about a 1/2 hour which is what we want. YAY! He just needs to build the strength to do it every feeding. But he so sweet I Love him so much.

So MicheLe has been in town for a coupLe of weeks and one night she had my girLs. She put sponge curLers in her daughters hair and my girLs begged for some too. The next morning when we took them out Sidney was NOT happy with what she saw. She threw the biggest fit about her hair. She hated the curLs which were hiLarious, but I had to spray her hair and take the curLs out.

So I'm sure most of you know I had a baby. My sisters have more pictures of my kids than me, its sad. But I'm going to get the hang of this. So I had a precious little boy on June 19, 2008 the pregnancy and delivery went fine. He was born with a cleft in his soft palate which is in the back of ur throat. He was also born with no uvula (the dangly thing in ur throat) that helps the liquid go down. So in the hospital he couldn't latch on so they gave us a special bottle that was supposed to help with his cleft. They still said I might be able to nurse just work with him. So when I got home I was using breast shields to help him get a better suction. It seemed to work. He also had jaundice and had to be under the lights, but with him not eating so well his jaundice level just seemed to stay. The pediatrician finally wanted me to come in for a weight check on him. He was 9 days old. He was born 8lbs 4oz and weighed in at 7lbs 3oz. I went home and was "nursing" him every 3 hours and had continually on the lights. 5 days later was his 2wk appointment and he dropped down to 7lbs. The doctor was worried about his rapid weight loss and was contemplating whether to hospitalize him or not. He decided not to and for me to come in after the weekend. The next day was the 4th of July and we were at a family gathering. After many attempts to wake and feed him we decided to take him to the hospital. We were admitted and he was down to 6lbs 9oz. We stayed in the hospital for 5 days where he had a feeding tube and I would pump every 3 hours. I worked with feeding nurses trying to figure out how to feed him. I saw a plastic surgeon about his cleft and he said surgery wouldn't be for a year. So now I have a 4wk old who now is on oxygen and still a feeding tube and I pump. But the good news is today he was 8lbs 1oz and is slowly getting better with a new bottle the feeding nurse gave me. But he is doing great and is cute as ever. The girls are having a blast being big sisters.
